Frage von cocolat:Hi,
I would like to work with Pinnacle Studio Ultimate HD.
My Camera stores MXF files Pinnacle Studio is not imported.
Now I've tried other software to convert the file which I managed to avi format, which I could then edit.
However, the quality is much much worse than the MXF file.
Does anyone know a trick?

No one got an idea?
I still have the program Vegas, with which I can convert videos ... so as to render ...
Only I do not know what encoding I must assume that the good resolution / quality will remain ...
Antwort von Belize:
Choose in Vegas Pro for rendering the file type, for example, MainConcept MPEG-2 use and an HDV template.

Convert with Vegas, that you import into Pinnacle Studio and can cut? That can not be taken seriously.
Because you could do the same in Vegas and cut import. All Programs can be complex for a small learning curve with a simplified workflow service, which is limited to the essentials. This is particularly synonymous for liquid that can import MXF, a large Ähnlichkeitkeit with PS has a brother complex and make use of waiving the many functions can be simply synonymous same.

@ Domain: I know that Vegas is an appropriate professional software for the camera, but there are reasons why not with Vegas but with Pinnacle is working. This must not be understood.
@ Belize:
So I followed your constructive advice and loaded the video into Vegas. Then "Render" -> file type "MainConcept MPEG-2 and template" HDV 1080-50i "is selected.
In one example, with 75MB clip I get the following:
a file with the extension. sfk, one with. m2t and one with. sfl.
The second has a size of 54.5 MB and is therefore somewhat smaller.
I have read that Vegas is "native" convert almost without loss, I can now assume that I have the best possible quality of HD with Vegas have reached videos, which is compatible with Pinnacle?
I have read in the description of the template HDV 1080-50i, that the image format is generated and 1440x1080 but with 25fps. However, with the camera records 1920x1080 and 50fps on. Now if I want to save with Custom 1920-1080 for the template, then I get an error.
Antwort von Belize:
Download and try the M2T file in Pinnacle. If it works and fits you the quality - it's matches.
Antwort von cocolat:
yes it works, but whether the quality matches, I do not know because I do not have the opportunity to burn here on bluray and to see 1920th I care because of a known and he just wants to deliver good results-or tips ...
