The Firewire connection of your DVD recorder is used for connection of DV cameras, which you then burn to DVD MPEG2-compressed can. You will hinbekommen no direct transfer of the DVD data from the laptop via firewire on the DVD recorder. My suggestion: buy external DVD Burners and DVD with the help of your laptop to copy.

Hmmm ... how about copy with? No honest ... when the DVD is not copy protected, you can copy the content without problems. Tips to circumvent the copy protection, I can not give you in this forum of course. However, I always liked to refer to interesting
Heise-News Artikel, der einen normalerweise auf den "richtigen" Weg bringt.
Is it when the DVD is a dual-layer DVD (DVD-9, that is one-sided, two layers), so you must content typically shrink a little, because the most common (and most compatible) media (DVD + R , DVD-R, DVD + RW, DVD-RW) are still single and have only one layer. In

Hello
No. The Dvd is not copy protected. In fact, if ne recording television.
So how can I now the basis of my laptop dvd copy and dvd-recorder s.Fernseh?
Antwort von chrisgau:
As I said ... I believe that you can indeed read the contents of the DVD on the laptop, but you will not get it from a laptop on your DVD recorder. My proposal was to provide you with an external burner for your laptop and copy the DVD there. Such a burner will supply a üblichweise a burning program (Nero, etc.). By doing this you should be able to do.
The contents of a non-copy protected DVD you can copy the way, for example, with the help of Windows Explorer of the DVD to the hard drive. Since there should be no obstacles.

Hello,
I now have the contents of the DVD, with the Explorer pulled to the hard drive, so far so good.
But if I then upload the movie content in Magix Movie Edit Pro, somehow missing quite a bit from the film.
Perhaps then I have to close the external hard drive, s.den laptop so I have more storage space?
Or how about getting the entire contents, the Dvd on the laptop? And what are exactly the data then?
Incidentally, there have tried my laptop with the DVD burner connected to the synonymous and radios.
