Hi,
Please I need your help:
I have a friend's
HD cable receiver and connected in the following video at:
- Antenna cable to HD cable box
- HDMI cable of HD cable box (; only has one Scart) to TV
- Scart Cable of HD cable box to VCR
- Scart Cable of VCR to TV
She claims now that recordings
are possible with only switched Television - can that be??

No because you still a scart cable from the receiver to the VCR have.

If the VCR has two Scart, then there is still an option
because otherwise it has a SCART AV In / Out (recording from TV)
the other only, or IN OUT
