've since a problem with a DV tape from korea (NTSC) ... in my camcorder it runs great but when I want, you can capture the image in the preview does not recognize (looks like a codec problem). Later played with windows media player or vlc does not. I have the FourCC of the recorded materials with AVIC can give results:

Use for capturing Adobe Premiere 1.5 or Windows Movie Maker. OS: WinXP Pro, no codec packs installed, only this one Adaptec_DVSoft_codec.exe because of dvsd

Is this a NTSC camcorder? If not then he can perhaps only tape on the camcorder screen play but not via firewire output ...

I think you need in any case a cheap NTSC "player-cam", or a professional player who can change, then you can use an NTSC Project !!!!! create and edit and output!

've solved the prob. k-lite codec pack installed and it works
(hate codec packs - only with yy ÿ I can not start)
