tommyb is right, because it does not have USB to transfer it. This is exclusively designed for the pictures. If unfortunately the manual did not show.
But these Firewire cards are really cheap.

How to proceed to know I have not synonymous, but the GS500 is one of the very few camcorders that actually has high-speed USB (for other devices usually only slow USB 1.1), so that actually synonymous video recordings on this interface are gecapturet can.

I presumed synonymous and tried, but the menu can not be used when the cam is finished (operation not possible). If still problems: The delivery of this camcorder is one of the manual for the camera a special manual for the PC port. " It is all described in detail what you have to adjust when and where, so that's synonymous USB works. Should these instructions be lost: On the Panasonic website, they can download.

How was the synonymous, with Firewire, the speed problem any more. ;-)
