Frage von hansuw:I make a transfer flilm with movie maker in dv format s.of dig. camcorder to the laptop, this film is not decomposed into individual cilps Unlike all other formats.
because one can give me help?
Antwort von Andreas_Kiel:
You transmit via the Firewire or approximately - gottbewahre - via USB? The latter could be fatal, because the software depending on the camera / software vendors time to time code mitliefert, sometimes not. Without code = no separation scene.
But your problem is possibly even more banal: Your camera has a functioning date / time display? A few weeks ago someone here has exactly the same question and a blank buffer battery was the reason for a lack Severability.

Hm, since I do not synonymous Council more than: let yourself from MovieMaker distinguished :-))) but if you want to retain the essential ... then you can use the DV-AVI files with Scenalyzer Capture (freeware), which decomposes in the input clip.
All other formats, the Movie Maker offers are something qualitatively worse. Only DV-AVI takes the tape contents without (further) loss on the plate.
