Is not exactly my specialty, but a further debugging option would aufjeden case, connect the camcorder time s.einen another computer - if the capturing with Firewire happening out there, you at least know that the firewire port works s.der Camera .. .

My Dv Camorder is no longer recognized synonymous of Premiere Elements (; PE) 2.0. Type Camcorder Panasonic NV GS27.
Have the same problem synonymous with Elements 7.0.
Camcorder is detected in Device Manager. About Windows Movie Maker, I can dub wonderful films.
PE reinstalled several times already - without success. OS Windows XP Prof. SP3. I have problem when I crashed a few days before PE, and I had to finish it on the task manager.
After each new installation the same PE says that the device is offline. Device is definitely online, as mentioned above. Who can help?
IEEE1394 interface.

Hello,
I have installed last week synonymous a new firewire card, my old had a VIA chip, the new a TI. With the old card I had no problems with my Canon HV20, the new card with TI chip, she was suddenly no longer recognized.
The solution: The TI-card uses its own drivers (; ubCore or something similar), the old windows of the enclosed.
Fortunately, the new card has delivered a program with which I can switch between the two drivers without restarting the calculator too. I switched the new card is now synonymous to the Windows Drivers ... And lo and behold, the HV20 is recognized again.
Maybe that helps someone.

Marc
