First and foremost, I am totally naked and like what videoschnitt s.pc regards ;-) My parents bought the SonyDCR-HC39, and I am now trying desperately the whole time with different resources to get the video to your PC. To this end I have the cam via Firewire s.meine Audigy 2 ZS connected and started the MM2. When capturing of DV-AVI but dropped about half of the frames, and the video runs almost in Fast Forward mode ... I habs been with TrialSW of Ulead, and others tried WinDV, is the only thing is recording in MPEG, but this looks qualitatively schrottig. When WinDV I can even see a massive influx be dropped frames. My PC is an Athlon XP 2600 @ 3200, 2x120 GB SATA in stripe ... fadisiert the thing is, in principle at capturing ... what I do wrong? 've Already changed my own map of Pinnacle zuzulegen or the like ... But the massive costs again :-(

Had a similar problem:
- SonyDCR-HC19 via Firewire
- Capture with Vegas 5
- Win2000, 2.3GHz, 512 RAM
The capture in Vegas works fine, but I can look at the generated AVIs only in Vegas. In any other program ', it stutters, that is, each is 2.frame completely distorted.
Ok, I have no experience, but I suppose it depends on the type, together with 2 and 1st Captured Vegas as Type 2? Are there any freeware batch Converter to Type 1 or mpeg, etc? I tried several (TRex, DV Converter, Video Media Converter, ...), which make this 'broken' Zwischenframes but there are always ...
Please help! Otherwise I'm thrilled Vegas experience, but would prefer to work a bit compressed files in order to expeditiously ...

How much space is there available? Unfragmented? Running any Programs (especially disable virus scanners in the background) ->! Can you perhaps try a different IEEE1394 interface (outside of the sound card)?

Hello,
I hab 2 striped SATA disks, which are normally mörderschnell ... The lights will flash once just a little. I Deactivate all times in the background ... Virus is a good tip ... Even Vegas not work with hats. Unfortunately I have no other interface than the Audigy ...

I checks not quite, but with the Vegas, I am now on what draufgekommen: gehts tough locally on the drive if I capture a netzlw I just get a few dropped frames ... evtl liegts s.der Audigy, a conflict with the SATA RAID controller or something of the sort .. I try to do that on another Calculator
