I have a problem, which for some of you is probably not.
I want my video material of my dv cam capture, brand Sony DCR-PC110E via firewire pal on the pc.
I want to cut the material with the latest premiere program.
The problem now is that I can control the use of pc cam from, but if I want to go on record, the pc tells me: scratch disc is locked or unavailable.
I've tried everything, setting etc, I do not know how I can fix this error. a white rat?
I need to have the film finished wednesday ....

Hello,
I'm also owner of a DCR-PC110E, but for me the device is not even recognized. That is, if I connect the camera via firewire with my laptop and nothing happens even in the programs with which I want to capture states "Please connect a. ...". I had the "firewire-if-not-really-work" thread, of course, read through. The only thing that applies to me is that I have installed Service Pack 2 (how can I uninstall it?).
