Hi Folks,

my new TV has a USB port, it can H.264/MPEG-4 AVC playback of files directly to an external disk.
My idea: I) large amounts of DV Avis (as archiving.
If I would convert them now (some with nero vision) in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, would remain in about the quality (in MPG2 for DVD, they will indeed go down something ...)? What settings are recommended? It brings advantages to export-HD?

DV-AVI to FullHD (with H.264) is big cheese!
Take MPEG2 with 8Mbit / s and this is good!
