Frage von ettenheimevent:Hi problems cut the EOS 7D videos.
first: work and cut with premium deluxe Magix 15 and my Panasonic TMC-350 (all well and without problems.)
Recently, I've gained more for photography with an EOS 7D which I of course synonymous times films. These files (mov) does not handle my editing program. My quad Win 7 (64-8G memory) system after a few thrusts inserted takes. Oh converted into MPEG 4 can hardly edit the videos. Who can give me a hint?
Greetings martin

Even Sony Vegas Pro behaves loading of MOV or MP4 files extremely memory hungry, because apparently the entire QT framework for each clip is instantiated again. Each clip demonstrated by approximately 75Mbyte memory, which means 32bit-System/Anwendungsprogramm at a temperature of about 30 clips the end of the flagpole. Sony Vegas creates, unfortunately, synonymous in the 64bit versions any more, because the QT Framework exists unfortunately only in 32bit.
To address this problem it is advisable to transcode the material. I do this with the help of ffmpeg:
ffmpeg-i-vcodec mpeg2video-<File.mov> sameq-copy test-acodec mp2-s.384k <File.mpg>

Deti Interestingly deti,
I use a free script in Vegas called proxy stream (here: http://sony.vegas.1.free.fr/), so I walk the orig. mov only once in any "light" format, before the export is there in the same script the function of the edited clip back through the orig. mov to replace - provided the two clips (processed and orig.) have the same name, then the whole thing can be ursprgl in his. Quality rendering.
Antwort von deti:
@ Thsbln: For me, this script is not synonymous with 30 + clips. It's not even as professionals rendering, but only to open the project.

Deti Funny,
in Vegas 8 and 8.1 (Win7 64bit, quad core, 8 GB RAM, which unfortunately can not be imposed at Vegas too much) can I open a project with well over 30 clips that I had previously converted by script in an intermediate and then into the Timelien drew ...

Looks to me like here in the picture attached. Under http://129.187.43.22/test_1.mov you can also view a file of my EOS550D download and test yourself by 30 copies of it and make the timeline draw. It does not work on Windows 7 32/64bit with Vegas 32/64bit 9th
