A new digital camera needs to her.
I can not decide btwn og modellen.
application area is 50% EB 50% staged.
ex3 advantages:
- Real FullHD
ex cons:
- 4:2:0
hpx advantages:
- 4:2:2
- 2 / 3 inches
hpx cons:
- Pixel shift (I like that s.wenigsten)
- A decent viewfinder is probably somewhat synonymous in the monetary
that the real is no ex schultercam I value is not necessarily a disadvantage.
who is familiar with both cameras and may make a recommendation?
until now I worked with the canon xl2.
please no recommendation for hpx301, was reported to me too much of the negative, it also has only 1 / 3 inch chips ....
as schauts really inzw. with rolling Schutter and CA in the ex out?

... And why no HPX301E - which is at least on the state of the art in Comparison to outdated HPX500? You should see a CCD sensor in Puncto noise does not compare with a CMOS sensor. The CCD sensor will always be insensible to noise and more synonymous!
The EX3 has with its 1 / 2 "sensors in the 4:3-format synonymous not significantly more area than a camera with 1 / 3" sensors in 16:9 format (there remain 25% of the 4:3-sensor by a picture in 16:9 format, unused - see Letter => 0.4 "vs. 0.33" => 17.5% more area per pixel). The HPX301E however, makes a knackscharfes Picture - not least by the AVC-I 100 compression, the frames are compressed. Unfortunately, AVC-I material is not just import them into any editing software.
Otherwise, an EX3, of course, is much cheaper here and the material can be processed much easier. On top you get a reasonable range for the EB autofocus, better viewfinder peaking with more beautiful, but does not halt construction, the fit on the shoulder.
On the other exploding Page on the Panasonic just the hard costs (eg P2 cards 1 Gbyte = 1 minutes, with a separate Charger + Batteries and AC adapter ...).
I would take an EX3, but the merrier (Linux) Toys is the Panasonic HPX301E. The 500 is the snow of yesterday, only the 3700 would be even more interesting, but can not even 720p50 and costs about as much as a PDW700 then it is quite the most beautiful toy, but, unfortunately, synonymous 40Watt needed.
PS: We have pretty much all models of Panasonic Sonyand for use in the house - so I know of what I speak!

In a HPX500, which we must now see as an obsolete model well, today I would not invest more, but why do you have the brand new SonyPMW-350 is not strict in the choice? It combines the advantages of EX3 seems to speak, and HPX500 and the flyer will be in this class. Prices on the HPX-I am not informed, but fitted properly, the Panasonic would be synonymous not much cheaper than the far superior PMW-350.

Nuja at a PMW-350 was the price I would have liked 4:2:2 - especially those who s.The Öffis over VJ / ENG will provide input to respect that.
If Sonyschon under "Highlights" s.erster body with an "Impressive Body Design" advertises, it makes me think ;-)

Who's really needs NanoFlash hangs a turn, adheres to all quality options up wide open on TV-out targets and still driving better than with any other similar camcorders.
