Ausspielformat What can you recommend me for Premiere CS4 for an HDV Project.
I use mostly in the MPEG2 standard settings, but the rendering takes forever. For a seven-minute movie encoded my calculator for an hour, and the film is already pre-rendered. And if you think I've ne cucumber as Calculator, I render a high-end workstation (Xeon Processor).

It is absolutely no preference whether high or low end, as long as the encoder is not optimized for multithreading, you render it as fast as someone on a dual-core cucumber.
Worse still, the Dual-Core cucumber be faster if the core clock is higher.
So the question is:
If your calculator encoded, all cores are fully loaded?
