Hello! I'm in the middle of my thesis and for me is the cut of a film have been added that I 6 hrs Raw material (in the ukraine filmed!) kurzfilm get to a must. The problem is that I have a sony mini-dvd camera was borrowed and applied directly to dvd has written and I have now finally *. vob files (which I can convert *. mpg) on my computer. However, anyone know the premiere is not in default, that the movies I ever open it (no preference whether *. mpg or so) in the premiere. it happens only explanation: "file could not be opened. This file was created with a non-supportive of sample rate. supportal rates are 11KHz, 22KHz, 32kHz, 44kHz and 4kHz." -) Any adjustment in the projekteinstung I've tried. where do I go, what sample rate I've used and what can I do? Yes, seems so.
One reads so a lot of problems with these weird formats of DVD and HDD cameras. Whether a demuxer, and convert audio streams Remuxen Kyras problem would solve? Then it could still be problems with the video stream type.

Vegas is so Sonyand should be of the format of a Sony camera can open. The trial runs, I think 2 weeks free, the basal incorporation in Vegas should be about one day need. I would evt times synonymous with the Windows Movie Maker to try. If it works: The Movie Maker does not like big projects, rather then several small projects.

I have now incorporated some in vegas. However, I stand again in front of the problem that the 15min movies I've drawn purely on ever so 2 minutes were cut. So, it's just not next and thus I can not edit then synonymous. kswas I now doing wrong again ... do you know da ne solution?

Initially, it was your problem is still manageable and easy, you did your material with Premiere not open.
Now, however, it is no longer simple. It seems that in Vegas you can leave it open, but shorten your Vegas each 15-minute clip of you inadvertently "to always be 2 min", whatever that might mean.
If you want to have real help, you should very specifically describe how your material is medium (DVD, hard drive in your camcorder or PC), how you load it in Vegas and then what you did so with employed.
Did you perhaps a video editing experienced peers, who could support you?

I walk times assume that the VOB files Dolby (AC3) include sound and it therefore not be opened.
Video and sound so it should be separated.

When the camera via Firewire no offers and only VOBs are available, I would have a DVD player and an interface card, if not synonymous, then I disconnect the Wise VOBs with DVD and convert the sound with AC3 decoder.
If, however, hoped that here with DVD-rebuild, VOB2AVI ect. know

So, my files are on my external hard disk into vob or mpg format. the camera and the original dvds (as rewritable), I no longer work. achso about my remark that 15 min to 2 min, ie, I pull a 15 minute sequence in the program and then I have but only 2 minutes of it - that is just the beginning.
unfortunately there are no peers are familiar with this problem, my profs are not synonymous ... already tried all the possibilities ...

I would be more interested in how large the individual VOBs are
eg 100-150KB would be 8MB / s for about 2 mins
15 minutes s.Stück filmed seems to me something lang.
And submit a CAM for each sequence in a separate VOB?

a vob file for me has at least 1GB and is actually 15 minutes long.
if I reinzieh into the program I've minute bar indicates 15 min but the sequence is only up about 2 min. I ton.

Did you ever try to open a VOB Then as Mpeg or whatever it?
Could well be all there is then - just wrong is because the format is not correctly interpreted.
Otherwise, it (if no other options come)
only with AC3 decoder to extract the sound, then
with the DVDtoAVI convert VOB to AVI.
