My laptop would not recognize my camera! I know I'm not the first with this problem, but not by the advice in the forums so far are smart, but I hope that it will work but one day?
I have Windows XP SP2 & my IEEE 1394 Bus host controller is OHCI-compliant,-when I connect my DV camera (dcr HC23E) via I-Link cable s.dem notebook computer of me wants to have a Drivers! Typically, but without going solls, synonymous-they have shown me in the store.
After I can not install the drivers because it simply does not exist on the included CD, and the Internet is not synonymous, I get the message that the installation of the hardware was faulty and they ewentuell (with security) not working properly.
So, when you connect the camera s.dem notebook will recognize it as a "new hardware", and in Device Manager it is under "Other Devices" listed as "AV / C subunit, with a yellow question mark and exclamation point. I have completely the same problem at two levels of computers! ..
At Saturn, the computer searched for the car, already in the existing operating system drivers, as they my Camera and my firewire cable s.einen Windows XP SP2 operating system joined! -and everything fit like the fist on the eye!
After I gesürft days on the forums on the net but I have already heard a million times that associated with the SP2 firewire problems could (Saturn was in the store) but this is not the case!
When I use the Device Manager, click the "Properties" of "AV / C Subunit going," he indicates: "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)"
Then I got all of the following tips:
Disable Firewire card, reboot, nothing has brought.
Networks enable network connections: 1394 connections has brought nothing
Switch on firewall and virus programs, has brought nothing
-Download SP2 patch has brought nothing
-Update all drivers for the computer cards, so they are up to date. (My notebook is from 2003)
Since my computer is set so that it automatically downloads updates, I do not understand why the überhaubt should be necessary.
