'm working on the classroom in a book for Adobe After Effects 6.0 through, but hang at the first lesson ... I will open a window of a plane precomposition ...
The book is the following procedure: Click the button column (left Scahlter / modes) to turn off the option to expand single-layer switches to .. Note: You must disable the option to collapse transformations before level objects or to Vorkompositionenen Open windows let in a plane ...
... double-click in the Timeline or in the composition window at the precomposition to open the Layers dialog to "
So far so good, have left next to the switch / mode button for two black arrows, which is actually one and Expand the level switch would think, OK, and click and the switches are off, but when double-click on the precomposition opens no windows and below-level level -- Open layer window is the only option grayed out (level is marked) ...
would be good if someone could help me, thanks in advance

Hi,
So I click open with just the right level and choose "composition" ...

have the problem resolved, the switch transition was folded down in the precomposition, this must be disabled to be able to open the layer window
