Hello,

I intend the Panasonic NV-GS500 to buy and therefore have looked to advance recommendation here in the forum to download the manual.

Now I make a "dry practice", in other words, I understand the dubbing really:

I connect your camcorder (Panasonic NV-GS500) and a PC via Firewire

Am I the camcorder tape playback mode, nothing else?

On my PC, I start editing software, such as Magix deluxe and then go on record and can then be transferred since the start?

What should I consider?

2. The camera came with special software is used.
