As a music teacher, I would like my students in the classroom as synonymous in the concert recording. The recordings must be used only in documentation quality in the classroom or have used.
There are high-quality mixer Mirkrofone and available recordings are no problem, but the money for a great new digicam is currently just under!
Now available on ebay very cheap (I think) Hi8 camcorder, about 10 years old. Good for anything? Can I put an old system in order to save money, what would you advise me?

Take prefer something newer. The qualitative difference to MiniDV is more than clearly visible. And will you look after editing (cutting), analog is more expensive than digital. MiniDV ... So maybe I can with the stereo signal from the mixer directly into the purely Cam? How is normally regulated without clipping or noise become a problem. Are there any entry-level devices, so problems?
