I travel constantly in South East Asia, China and Japan since 2004 and have almost always the small hc-1 of sony s.start. Logically, planned and paid for projects using synonymous I rather 'ne HDCAM from the f-serie ... But here's my personal opinion and my experience with the hc-1:
