I have the Windows Media Encoder found and I think it does.
if it was better there, which compresses more and better qualified
then over it.

mac is for Visual Hup (new name FilmRedux) very good - mp4 H264 in HD2 1280x720p

VisualHub costs money (it has at least times) and developed no longer synonymous. On the Mac it's also for free-and-click GUI hater. I do this as follows:

MacPorts installieren.
- Im Terminal ffmpeg installieren:

sudo port install ffmpeg +a52+darwin_i386+faac+faad+gpl+lame+theora+x264+xvid
[/code:1:fd16bcf1d9]
Dann das Skript anbei so aufrufen:
[code:1:fd16bcf1d9]
./264code <dateiname>
[/code:1:fd16bcf1d9]
Die resultierende .mp4 File kann dann als Flash- Video im H.264-AVC-Format abgespielt werden.
Für Profis: Im Skript lassen sich Resolution, Framerate, Bitrate für Audio and Video einstellen. Per Default wird folgendes Format erstellt:
Video : H.264-AVC with 1280x720p25@5,5Mbit/s
Audio : AAC with 44,1Khz@128Kbit/s
Container: Quicktime/MOV.
Das Ganze geht natürlich synonymous auf allen anderen Plattformen, wo ffmpeg verfügbar ist (Windows, Linux, ...).
