Frage von Heiner Kunk:
I would like to use my camera as a security camera virtually. It will then be recorded directly via FireWire to the hard drive of the Macbook Pros. But how do I get through this because the Mac recognizes FinalCut with me only in VCR mode, but not in recording mode?
Is that then only with a Maz as Zwischenmittler "?
Antwort von msmuc:

Already tried the QuickTime Player) (File> New video?
If, however, possibly only with the Pro version of QuickTime.
With the "old" version of QT Player 7 series should even be set different recording qualities.
Antwort von Heiner Kunk:

not nec. Photo Booth on the Mac, unfortunately, stops after 7 minnutes on and the quality is cruel
