I realized on the panasonic site: http://www.hvx200.eu/ in d. technical details for the Lens d. "motorized / manual mode switching found" and wanted to ask whether this is the mode of the already synonymous of the dvx100 known!
this means the zoom ring rotates automatically and I can switch this mode?

Yes, manual zoom coupled with switchable servo.
