Frage von SwissDok:Good people
I have searched but not found. So I ask you now for advice
Actually, I want to buy the big iMac, but I am not sure whether I need the Mac Pro.
Reason: s.iMac there is only one Firewire port. For DV editing with FinalCut I will add two to three HD's, but synonymous - and now comes the problem - my DVCAM recorder, which makes the playout synonymous to a professional video monitor.
On my old Mac I always had two Firewire inputs and got hung s.einen the DV Cam player, the HD's s.den other in a chain.
When I only have a Firewire input, I can make a chain with my HD's and s.end the chain to attach the DV Cam player?
Wöhrder of the cut would go so then in the direction of Compi data of the individual video files simultaneously and in the other direction from the program the video signal, so to speak, and the same in the line.
Does the liquid or because I'm on my Bildruckler external monitor? What would be a no-go.
Or if I would then run capture times so synonymous in both directions at the same high volumes of data: from the player produces the video data, dei then through the process and run back Duch Firewire is written to the HD's.
Has anyone made experiences in this regard? Does the smooth, or there's problems? Ev. can assess the synonymous someone who writes on his laptop at the same time captured material and an external HD.
The way out of USB HD's is not in question, as synonymous will be cut in HD.
Thanks for your assessments and Tips
Daniel
