Frage von mrekim:Hi All,
I am a new here;) and come straight with a couple of stupid questions.
I have since 2 days, the Panasonic HDC-SD10.
So I've now made 2 videos:
- Cinema Mode (25p, shutter at 50)
- Automatic (50i)
When I now look at the 25p video on the camera it looks like it should be. The video in the automatic mode works significantly faster fluid and subjective. Until here everything fine.
Now when I play both videos in iMovie and import the 50i video runs just as if it had been shot in 25p mode. (ie slower) So there is no difference between the two modes.
Why is that?
Import setting in iMovie is Pal fps on 25th
I thought the 25p video of the camera like the Canon cameras will be in a movie packed 50i ". How this works exactly?
And how do I get the "normal" speed of 50i transfer videos?
Greetings and many thanks,
Mike

The Panasonic website says
* Video recordings with 25p in the Digital Cinema mode is stored as 50i converted to images.
What does that mean? I come at the whole picture stuff totally confused. IMovie 50 now takes half or 25 frames if the setting 25fps say?
