would s.meinem apple system (Final Cut Pro) like to connect a control monitor (37cm tv converter) via an a / d. now my question, it must really such a device be of benefit or panasonic jvc, etc. or is it synonymous if I made a small (cheap) tv with scart connection using it? I do not do the prof. but rather pastime. such a small 37cm tv with scart connection you get so Euronen already in mediamarkt p.50. what do you think?
what a / d converter can you give me, I recommend my andem kontroll monitor can join?

Hi Danni,
a used DV Camera with Firewire DV-in is slightly more expensive than the proposed converter and kills four flies with one stone: playing off the external TV then (without cassette), sparing your camera to capture the main stress, archiving of the finished movie to a DV cassette and a second device, which is sometimes very useful. For the controllability of Final Cut Pro Sonyand Canon are known, there are definitely a corresponding list in the Net.
When choosing the right monitor would be my suggestion to join a similar mini-camera with video cables in the shop. On the tape, a test image with the framework markers should be to show you how much of the picture that you see in Final Cut Pro, is cut away from the TV. There is NO consumer device that is not cut away neatly. What else affects the Picture, is mE Sonyziemlich well, especially with flat screen.

TV is a good hobby use all sufficient, but sooo cheap ($ 50), it should not be. Perhaps more of a brand unit with good picture tube and not too coarse pixels (after all, you are sitting close to the DV editing) before it.

I recommend to you an old philips monitor, as it was used when Amiga500.
have chinch connections, setting much more than a cheap tv, and you have no problems with no visible range, because the picture (like the pc monitor) can be scaled. who are cheap on ebay, respectable - but there is not the synonymous entrance.
my philips CM8833-II model is called, and I am completely satisfied. If I'm buying the coal I prof one. studio monitors. but the old amiga dinger MUs are an alternative very good, inexpensive (and certainly preferable to any tv device)
moreover, they should not need (a lot of space to be 15'')

I have unfortunately not have a camcorder, and I always only one channel on the open ausleihe so I need an a / d converter to connect my monitor to be able kontroll. the dazzle hollywood gets almost one uses already very cheap, or should I still take one of canopus? are there major differences? need the a / d converter only for the monitor kontroll!

I have the monitor here and a Canopus ADVC converter. 'm quite happy with the combination:
