Hi,

There are laptop computer to TV converter?

So that my digital cable box off and the plug can then look at the laptop can. the tv has no map.
tried to buy an external, but the usb parts are shit, poor image quality, or do not have integrated encoder, so that the processor is too busy.

unfortunately did not synonymous pcmcia slot, but the newer ExpressCard slot. 34mm. that I can not find tv card.

or what options I have?

but it is synonymous sufficiently known (;-))

I capture with the sort of Canopus ADVC100 on FiereWire with ScLive. As can be beautiful start / stop time and choose with which program to be processed next.

Better quality could show me None.

Sounds to me like a technical gimmick ( "let's see if it works"). How about an alternative so that if you put the items with a television would look? That would have some advantage ...

With USB TV cards, the entire burden on the CPU (nearly all of today's TV cards) and therefore, it is important that the CPU performance is strong, otherwise the course makes no sense.
For laptops there is no possibility einzuspeisen, USB and Firewire are the only. So I think there is unfortunately no solution.
