I have a Bilora 936 Tripod. The Tripod is sufficient for my purposes, the tripod head (2963) is not as precise as I have my wish so I'm on the search for another.
Where is the diameter of the shell is measured? The largest diameter of the bowl s.Bilora head has 63mm, 58mm has the ball in the Tripod. Has a special dimension Bilora, because in my research I noticed that there are either 75mm or 100mm shells.
Furthermore, would interest me the Manfrotto 501 HDV Head very much, I would think the fit for my use. But he has a flat mounting on the Manfrotto tripods. According to the data he has the possibility to mount a half shell, but nowhere can I find the corresponding half-shell .....
o) Is this bowl as a standard part?
o) What are the other recommended tripod heads with matching bowl for Bilora in the price class 200 ¬ it to?

Bilora the '65 has a dome, so that will be difficult to find a suitable head, the standard is 75.100 and 150mm.
For recording a Manfrotto 501 you need something like "MA520Ball" (google time), but in this case for 65mm, do not know if there is the ....
Maybe you can complain?
Especially with tripods shows again and again, who buys cheap .......!

I'm looking so far in vain for a Stillimage or drawing looks like the Manfrotto head of the bottom. Does anyone have a link might look like this plan area with opportunity for Halbschalenbefestigung .... or maybe someone can go to the trouble and post a Stillimage? I can even make a 65er hemisphere, I have a lathe, I just need to know how it would look something .....

I'd make the Manfrotto 525 + 501 already, but I will not put ¬ 600 tripod in the mud (motor racing)! Since it does not synonymous with the 120 ¬ Bilora Manfrotto head! When I use a tripod for "clean Affairs consumption, I'll buy the Manfrotto it, or a Sachtler, Vinten, or a ......

has to be below 501 3 / 8 inch thread, details of which should be synonymous s.bilora if I am not mistaken.

Hello!
The Bilora has centered rausstehen from the half-shell 3 / 8 "threaded rod. The bowl is with 4 (about M4) draufgeschraubt Allen screws on the flat surface of the head.
Have googled for MA520 ball and on the not very good photos, I think recognize that the ball not only with the 3 / 8 "threaded rod, but with three (?) Screws at the bottom of screwed. Is that correct?

the three screws are only for security against unscrewing the pan .... You have one of my mail with Stillimage the bottom of the 503 HDV is (identical with diesbezgl.komplett 501) hope it's arrived u.hilfreich
If you can not make the bowl of Bilora-head, is synonymous then a 3 / 8 "thread in the plan area? Then you just need to make longer bolt ne ....( offer this possibility as the Sachtler heads, so can they fit like a Flachbasis-head).
