Frage von ULY:HI.
have a technical problem.
I would like to add a theatrical performance at the Sound Stage in front s.der with a stereo microphone (or synonymous 2 Monomikros).
I will go into the back of Shooting
The question now is how do I connect the Micro s.The Cam?
How long can an XLR Micro may be cable, so that the recording nciht noisy ode verbrummt.
Does a phantom voltage, the maximum length?
or there is only ne spark gap?
(I guess jack or something similar, I can forget.)
Thanks for your experience.

Sprinkle with as long as nothing can be good cable loose 20-30 meters is no problem (I think next away You will not be synonymous). Wireless Micro's going synonymous, of course. With the XLR cable Gaffa-tape not forgotten. Thus after stumbling None ...

Hello,
an XLR cable is not saying much about the nature of sound transmission. If the latter is symmetrical? Then there are even 100 meters no problem. If it is unbalanced, however, can already be 3 m critical.

3.5mm jack extension - problem: buzzing noise

Of course I meant symmetrically ... maybe a mistake to always assume that one car symmetrically says ... cough ...

Oh yes, there are still a few questions:
The question now is how do I connect the Micro s.The Cam? What camera do you have? Professional or consumer? What she has connections for microphone signals?
Does a phantom voltage, the maximum length? No, a phantom power has been bestowed to me no restrictions.
