I have I see a Casio EX-Z1080 bought me as a possibility here in the forum recommended, and am so happy synonymous.
As promised (I do not remember whether it was in this forum), I would like specifically about the video function of the Camera reported. The camera can video sequences in the dimensions 640x480 (4:3) and 848x480 (16:9) with 25 frames per second progressive recording. This is a bitrate of 5.8 Mbit / s and 7.0 Mbit / s (video and audio). The video data with the H.264 codec compresses and together with the mono sound into a *. mov container. The video length is limited to 10 minutes. On a memory card of 1 GB fit about 20 minutes of video.
Since the resolution is not the Pal-standard (as used on DVDs) must be equivalent to the video in the size changed. It is synonymous to observe the cameras with square pixels and digital cameras with rectangular pixels (1:1,067) to work. The example video begins with two video parts of my Canon MV200 (which is now unfortunately broken) for the Comparison. This video parts I have with a black frame. Conclusion:
Looking at the size and the price difference to my video camera Casio EX-Z1080 so the videos are quite good. Despite the necessary post-processing (resizing), they are suitable for my video projects (mostly just a holiday films) to be used. Due to the strong compression in the camera, the videos are somewhat blurred.
The photo features the Casio Ex-Z1080 I can not say much because I have the automatic mode has not yet come out bin. For me, the quality of the images well. If needed, I can sample images synonymous provide. Only then would I know what I like to be photographed.

Yes, I was completely shocked, the Casio with the current models of the video is limited to 10 minutes, no preference whether 1 or 3 qualification. At the beginning, while the total time, while pressing the shutter then the 10 minute display, synonymous with the fastest card available "only" 10 min. Many companies (Pana, Sony & Canon) film really up card is full. A thought Mag Casio was still filming until card is full, you must test everything themselves wirkllich .....

Correction: Canon can s.Stück with a maximum of 4 GB of filming, then next recording.

This script can then test with the media player open. For further processing do I open the script with Premiere 6.0 and save it in DV format.
You can see the video sequences, but synonymous with SUPER to convert many other formats.
