Frage von Gilgamesch:

So I'm following function, perhaps "stupid" question;)

Under the basic principles of the transferring of the videos on the computer I am familiar, but there's something that makes me ponder.

I work with Adobe Premiere Pro.
My question now is this:

The only way I know is transferred to the videos that you have to take up the running film s.PC in real time.
Gibts not COPY the possibility the entire video file to a. So for the purposes of moving a file?

File definitely is not - this should DV tape-something like a file system mounted. Otherwise it looks like with DVDs - where there are VOB or VRO files.
Nevertheless, it should at least be possible to speed up the video transfer. However, I know of on the fly any camcorder / editing software which form the supports. But there are still other smart people ....

What alternatives there are to DV tapes?

I do not know.

The waiting period can of course be ideal for reading the forum Slashcam use ;-)

Well, so this would solve my problem.
Remember: Always a lot of time for miteinberechnen dub;)

... But since this is now resolved, I still have ne question:
Know each other better here jemadn with Adobbe Premiere Pro 1.5?
The scene detection splints for me to be malfunctioning. Respectively, the program copies only a single scene, and never the whole tape s.Stück

Antwort von GPH:

If you want to record the tape s.Stück, you must turn off the scene detection. Problems can arise when the time code does not go through. premiere stops when no frames are being detected. (For such a case, it is recommended that a mini-DV tape in advance with a pre-marked black, ie they can be a mini-DV cassette easily accommodate in the closed Lens and then rewinds back. Then a time code is received and the then runs completely through.)
Synonymous, it is still the possibility (depending on the type of camcorder and PC-card) dub over different connections. for example, via S-VHS, as it then there no scene detection. In Premiere, may have to be the "Preferences" to set the recording mode.

Professionals do not subscribe to common on consumer formats (MiniDV). Some professionals in several formats allow the capturing speed.

Professionals to take up the DV capture, in the same manner as the moviemakers: einzuspielen 60 minutes of video takes 1 hour - or vice versa. ;-)
