Hello s.alle,
I would like a few clips that are made with a camera in Panasonic P2 format (now on HDD). To see how Premiere Pro CS3 suitable for me, I downloaded the trial and installed. Unfortunately, in the project templates "HDV" no elements, and if I use other templates select them, the MXF files, of course, not import. Updates synonymous, I can not install - the updater always say that the product they could not find. I do something wrong? Do I need to install additional plugins? The video codec of the images is in any case DV100_1080/50i

More precisely, I have the following "mission":
I have a few video clips in the P2 format. This has a friend for me. I would like these clips now easy for me, "wiedergebbares format convert - say - I would like to create a DVD like this. So MPEG4 etc would be totally ok. Since this task, I only ever have to, it is worth the purchase of a complete editing suite is not - mainly because I do not edit, but transcode to 1:1. Unfortunately I know of no software that can, and when I google about PPro CS3 gestolpert. Well, a trial was so worth it:)
What is perhaps a workable solution, as freeware or trial software is available?

panasonic p2 is not an HDV ...
and s.cs 3.1 is supported natively p2 - therefore you will probably have an old trial in which it no funzt

right - I have the 3.00 - and that is directly of the Adobe Page. A recent trial, I have not found, and the updates can not install because the update installer can not find the installation ...
