Hello,
in an attempt to create a time-lapse effect on the function "Single Record" with the program Magix VdL 16 premium to the error message "Unable to connect to the device." displayed.
A standard DV recording via the firewire cable goes smoothly. The cam will be recognized.

Hello,
Magix has meanwhile installed new, but without the problem could be solved. However, after the new installation was initially synonymous not connect to the cam in Menufenster "DV Recording" is possible. Then came the message, as in Menufenster "Single Record". By again turning on and off the Cam Magix has recognized the Cam and then was in Menufenster "DV Recording" back to normal, but just not in the Menufenster "Single Record". Am unfortunately no expert and I am not sure if it could be driver problem or a problem of cutting the program. Strange is just that the cam is indeed detected. After reinstalling the cam is no longer synonymous Menufenster "Single Record" as a video source is available but only the webcam (USB), but provides no synonymous Picture s.dieser body else already.
