Hello, I'm a total Beginners with video editing, and have the following problem:
I want to edit for a friend on a video and burn to DVD.
I installed a Viedeoschnittkarte of Pinnacle Studio 9.4.3, and as a software (OS Win XP SP 2) (Sound on board)
As a camcorder, I have a Compact VHS Camcorder JVC GR-FXM39E.
I have with the supplied cable (Cinsch, 2 pcs.) Camcorder and Viedeokarte connected. Other connections are not s.Camcorders available.
In the Studio with Studio 9, the picture is taken, but no sound.
Recording settings are:
Video Recording Source: Pinnacle AV / DV
Recording Audio Source: NVIDAR (R) Audio nForceTM Lin-In
Recording format: AVI
Recording of Film comments: Line-In NVIDAR (R) Audio nForceTM
I hope my question is too stupid.
Who can help me?

Is there a hook in "sound" under "Line In"?
In volume control under "Options" -> "Properties"
but disable all other time recording devices except "Line In".

You have produced an audio connection to the video card (Pinnacle), but included the sound of the (integrated on the motherboard?) Sound card (nVIDIA nForce Audio line-in)? In this case, you need the sound, of course, lead to the line input of the computer.

I do not answer is obvious, an audio connection from your camcorder (JVC Compact VHS Camcorder GR-FXM39E) to the line input on the sound card is not possible, because the camera does not have additional RCA connectors.

So again to the beginning:
You have two cables (AV) connection. The yellow is usually a cable transmitting the video cable, the other transfers the audio signal.
Since you only have ONE RCA audio is mono. (OR it is a stereo jack then synonymous).
Video signal s.Deinem Calculator You have already cabled correctly, because the picture is there.
For the audio cable you must now select an input
(LINE IN or
Microphone). The corresponding input must then be synonymous enabled in the properties. (see above).

Well, the question has been answered. But you can take synonymous about your video card if it has a sound input. Do you have to adjust s.PC then only as synonymous. Otherwise, I would always recommend that you line-in and not the microphone input. Microphone mute switch on!

A 380 landing I've seen on television, I felt the weather was too foggy, had an alarm put on six extra clock because I'm not the fotagraphieren (wanted to go to the filming of the airport), but not in such a foggy weather. I've just bought a new high-quality digital camera that I wanted to test.
