1.hab times a fundamental question: why should not we capture with a 3 chip cam? what exactly is kaput by the cam?
2.habe a Sony vx 1000e and want to capture with a panasonic NV-DS60. Problem: the cassette, with which I've recorded with the sonx vx, can not be with the panasonic watch (except for pictures, otherwise everything is black). synonymous'm pretty sure that both devices are Pal.

Hello Bernd,
s.einem 3-chip camcorder will break anything if you so captures video tapes. Some videographers is such a device, however, too good, so that they also buy a cheap camcorder for capturing. This protects the drive of the 3CCD model, nothing else. ;-)
Ad 2: Have you recorded the tapes with the VX1000 in Long Play? This recording type is in fact not been standardized, ie each Manufacturer as cooks his own soup. Sometimes even other camcorder models from the same manufacturer do not reflect LP-recorded tapes.
