So, initially I thought that DVD would be the right camera for me, but after some reading, in this and other forums, I note that the DVD is probably not so good for me.
miniDV quality is better than DVD, ok.
Postprocessing is probably easier and more synonymous with miniDV. ok.
Here are my criteria, which a camera for me to meet:
- High optical zoom: need the camera for windsurfing and therefore need a large optical zoom!
- Easily and quickly post
- Good quality, especially in the sunlight
- Low vulnerability to wind / sand, etc.
I always had a miniDV camera, but often problems with flying sand s.Strand that I have 2 cameras destroyed.
Therefore, I thought, maybe a DVD camera is indeed better. But I wish the movie well and synonymous afterwards simply edit (eg with Adobe Premiere).
Had me Sony106E viewed a DVD camera, which seems to me quite well (around 400 euro). And has 40 times optical zoom!
Now my questions:
How much is worse than the DVD quality? Bermerkt you really that strong?
MiniDV is a fragile drive for wind / sand as DVD?
Is it with DVD really that much harder to be the video editing? Can Adobe Premiere to read? The Sony106E can read almost all slices (-R, + R, + RW DL)
What cameras can you recommend me?
Which miniDV camera has a large optical zoom and is the equivalent Sony106? (around 400 euro).

DVD or miniDV?

MiniDV, DVDcam schaint dirt and even worse to be a grain of sand that in the DVD drive to fix scratched the whole dvd, wenns blöd s.ner body. The Sonyhat the best optical zoom, but has the Panasonic DV-IN.

What do you mean with "the best optical zoom? DV-IN, I personally would have useful, especially when it comes to archiving cut films on DV tape goes.

You really need that much zoom? If you are synonymous with 10-times optical zoom're satisfied that you could buy the Panasonic gs180, so it cost around 400 ¬. The synonymous then has 3 chips and a much better picture quality.

10X is too little. We make surfing shots and since one has to sometimes quite ranzoomen, with Tripod, of course!
