Hello NG,
'm scrapping my old video machine when not thought that I still have some irreplaceable film snippets, which I had with the DC30 (MJPEG) captured. Now I have ne RT.X100 with Premiere 1.5 and can no longer get s.das material ran - it can not be imported. Anyone know what to do? I am not a professional and know not to take where the codec, and above all: how to use. Would be very grateful for a reply.

Presumably you'll have in the system only an mjpeg-avi codec install, sowas gibts example of PIC or MainConcept or tomorrow.
Costs a few euros.
And old versions are synonymous in the various codec packages - not necessarily stop legally, I fear.
Legal gibts as the Matrox package, unfortunately I have to the download link anymore.

In the latter case, try the following times: Starting a new Premiere project, but choose any template from the Matrox folder. Premiere here would in fact always have access to the RT.X100 and which has its own guidelines. Choose instead one of the standard project templates ( "DV-PAL standard). Then click on the menu Project> Project Settings> General. Choose a processing mode "Video for Windows", then click on the button "Next" and select the video filter menu as a compressor to your MJPEG codec.
That would at least my approach, but I can not here to try the absence of MJPEG files. - Will you come to next? Can now export the files in a current format (such as the Matrox AVI)?
What I just think: In Premiere 6.5, there is a template for Quicktime Motion JPEG. Perhaps there is a synonymous in Premiere Pro and perhaps bring you next ...?!

Thanks Mark for your sympathy. But I almost despair. PREMIERE 1.51 (! Not possible) to import (on "The file does not have a supported compression on"). Have a new project (as you described) is created - however you think of these settings I do not (or they) are probably not exist. Do you have another idea?

And - surprise, surprise - I get the movie into the timeline and can look at him synonymous. But the picture is saumiserabel. Probably something wrong with the half-frames. Peaceful scenes seem ok, but in a choppy swing violently, and the edges look like a washboard. Well, now the holidays coming, I'm gonna pack well.
