I am looking for a way how to make the video recorder with a pc that can connect the video recorder as an external tape drive working, I can still remember the dark it davür special pci card and gave it over RCA, and SCART connections to video recorder pc as mass storage could use ......
anyone knows whether there are such maps is still there or has someone experience with this technique .....

Firstly you can never be a certain place on the advice tape, as in a streamer is possible. A video tape backup is always sequential, ie only the TOC is written and then the payload.
Secondly, you have an analog recording system without any error correction. That is, what in the video goes through times when Störstreifen and sow not interested, you will zerschießen data. If this happens at the table of contents, good night, full cartridge!
Third, the recording density is extremely low. Precisely because there is no error, the data is redundantly recorded at least. On the already very tight fit then recordable tapes anyway hardly what. If you put your data for longer in a cupboard will banish you need make a streamer with many bands.
An analog video somehow involved is a rather dangerous experiment.
