a short but very important question for me in terms of pixel aspect ratio!
I need to know whether analog (scanned) AND digital (digi-cam) pictures (photos), have square pixel aspect ratio. There is indeed synonymous rectangles pixel aspect ratio.
It is particularly important to find out that because I want to improvise advantage sequences in premiere pro, accordingly, the images in the respective course and would like to avoid distortions!

Yes, both have square pixels.
You can download the images as they are imported into Premiere.
Premiere recognizes that there are square pixels and places them from internal auto correct.
To avoid black borders to the images must be available in 4:3-format.

4:3 format is a bit difficult in the scanned images, image because they are developed in the 10x15 format.

15x10cm means yes finally a 3:2 ratio. All you'd have to either the images in Photoshop or similar Cropper (crop) to 4:3, from 4:3 scale unrelational (distortion!), Or you have to live with black borders. You could fill these margins than with any background or something.

Another (quick) option would be for the 10x15 = 2:3 images, resize it to exactly 576 px and Height to insert it into Premiere. If we scale under Project> Project Settings> General> when you add clips to sequence at the project takes away the tick size, cuts premiere auto left and right images. Otherwise gibts above and below a black bar.
