I have so far actually rotated with:
various Sony (Beta, IMX, DV, HDV)
various JVC (GY series)
Nikon D90
RED One
Panasonic DVCPRO agree to 4:3 times still.
but just never with Einr Varicam.

So one should note that the camera only stores 60 full frames on the tape. With the successor model HDX400/900 this is not the case.
If it then turns to 24 or 25 frames, the rest of the pictures "spotted".
