The majority simply does not need 20 or 35x optical zoom, because a tripod is mandatory then that again Nobody wants to go.
For me, the 3CCD technology, better nursing's image, the accessory shoe and the headphone output just important. The real 16 / 9 mode, I will not now with, as GS 35 had only cheap letterbox, but in GS 180 is then turned off the bar.
