Hello,

I switched of my FX1 on a EX1R and still searching for the perfect cutting tool after I (unfortunately) my PS12ult. can not reuse them.

The new program should be able to either container or edit the XDCAM EX, however, import the convertible container loss and MFX.

It goes with the requirements of video editing and concentrates on cutting tracks and stability! The tool should be stable running Vista64. The result is loss as possible be spent on BluRay (s.besten with menu).

I am over Magix Pro X2 and stumbled price is already so synonymous for nearly ¬ 200 to get.
Unfortunately, I find some user opinions on Magix Pro X2 and almost nothing about the editing of XDCAM EX material (which is indeed of Magix advertised).

So: someone cuts his XDCAM EX material with Magix Pro X2 and what does's with the satisfaction of (workflow: import, editing, output to BluRay and stability?

Oh yes, with HDV at PS12 was really totally satisfied. Completely stable and and highly efficient. Functionally I really do not need more ...

me at the moment of what prevents Vegas 9:
1. the bugs and problems after the first scanning through the forums (especially the crashes when rendering large files)
2. the version that there is in the moment for EX1R this is - oh what a surprise! (Advertising omits's) make - without DVD Architect and thus the possibility BluRay's with menus rather limited if not impossible.
3. AVC - BluRay is only supported with castrated speed (I mean time at 16Mbit / s connection).
4. the unfinished 64bit version (to install both versions is therefore Recommendation - too far for me!)

oh yes, perhaps I have synonymous fear / respect for the functional depth of Vegas Pro. Have a bad experience with Avid Liquid done: I found the handling to my needs rather produktivitätsausbremsend. Constantly I stumbled on the settings that I needed. PS11/12 there was a real salvation ... perhaps a prejudice, which I - perhaps unjustifiably synonymous - now all "Volllprofilösungen" transfer.

Have synonymous Magix Pro X1.5 pro9 Vegas and Edius 5:12!
Most money for Magix Pro X, but synonymous running the new 2.0 on a 64bit platform I know of Magix.
Magix Pro x needs a lot of RAM and Vista is already wasted with me just over 1GB before I loaded the program überhaubt possessions. If then the 2GB mark is errrecht begins s.auszulagern Vista and is very slow.
Moreover, Magix kan X1.5 Pro impoertieren no MFX container.
With XP 32bit are few problems!

5:12 Edius can do anything! EX / MFX container should synonymous to Win. 64bit systems running (so far only 32 have bit) and offers synonymous directly in the program of creating the Blu-ray Diks.
Only you have to convert AVCHD to EDIUS AVI, or MPG.
But with version 5.5 should be the past.

yes, with Edius 5, I have flirted synonymous ever - but one finds little to synonymous opinions.

Is Edius (with you) is absolutely stable?

.... as I said in my version of Vegas Pro DVD Architect not exist there!
