Hello,
I think I just go up a camcorder.
The Sonydcr dvd 405E has indeed done well in previous tests right. Allerdins has always criticized the Image Stabilization.
I mainly want to take racing. Why should the camcorder pans well join and have a nice integrated sound especially. It would not be synonymous bad if he would use in low light conditions.
My questions:
Has anyone made experience with the above camcorder, there would be a more appropriate camcorder in this price category?
Image Stabilization is a necessary, especially in motorsport?
PS: is important that the camcorder can record on DVD.

The weakness of all camcorders, MPEG (DVD, hard drive, SD card) is a smaller data rate / stuttering in the pivot's. That is more or less at all so, MiniDV defintiv would be better in sports, without much movement / swivel's could use a DVD, but the stress increases when the film is to be properly processed.
A real editor program provides only Canon DC 10 / 20 / 40 and Panasonic VDR 250 / 300 with. In Sonyist Nero while, and Picture Package (405 / 505) - so that one can not properly cut.
With the new upcoming Magix, it will be better to look at times, whether Magix detects the entire film and the sound is correct.

It all depends on WHAT you want to do. For holiday movies, weddings, parties, etc., an NV-GS180 is sufficient in all cases.
