Frage von gunman:Hi,
I'm using right now a trial version of Vegas 9 per.
I opened a Projet (; 720x576) So Mini Dv format and imported into a Magix Video Deluxe 15 DV Avi file created and dragged to the timeline.
No problem, but when you play there are problems, because in places the preview window remains black movie is playing, sound is running, then suddenly come back just images, then all black.
On Pc can not lie there: quad-core Vista
The avi file is played in Magix problems in the timeline.
Why might that be? I know Vegas is not as good, but otherwise makes me a good and solid impression.
Thanks for an answer.

Hey,
I wanted not only to open a new topic, so the old man warmed up again.
So ...
I digitize straight, for my father, some old Hi8 tapes on a Digital8 camera. Connected via Firewire.
Because neither Sony Vegas Pro 9, could absorb an Magix Video Deluxe 16, the material without losing hundreds of pictures. I had to play with all the latest Windows Movie Maker, with which it has funny way synonymous worked perfectly - why always synonymous.
Now I have the DV-AVI file into Vegas Pro 9 and had drawn it regret to say that the reproduction even at low Vorschau-Resolution/Qualität extremely jerky. Sometimes I get a picture get 10 seconds to see long, this can not be normal! Especially since this format so as more "high consumption" applies.
Why might that be?
My system:
Intel Core i7 920
12 GB DDR 3 Ram
2x750 GB HHD
nVidia GeForce GTX 285 (1GB)
The system is used only for the cut, therefore not synonymous pest controller in the background.

could it be that the still images, etc are already formed when digitize?
Antwort von Marco:
What properties for the file will appear as in Vegas Pro see below for the edge of the Explorer window when the file was there selected?

could it be that the still images, etc are already formed when digitize? No, if I play the file with Windows Media Player, it runs smoothly.
@ Marco
I've just copied everything ...
Video: 720x576x24, 25.000 fps, 01:15:52:15; Alpha = No; Fieldreihnfolge = Lower Field First, DV
Audio: 48,000 Hz, 16 bit, Stereo; 01:15:52:15; DV - Audio
For the audio stream Vegas has independently created a proxy file, it does so now less jerky. Actually, you can not call it synonymous jerk directly. The video is always a few seconds and then it is first displayed for a few seconds, as if the video should be buffered first again. The properties are fully adapted s.die original file.

DV is actually for Vegas Pro pretty much the most unproblematic format that even on a PC with less than 1 GHz CPU clock speed and 256 MB RAM should still run entirely smoothly. So, it sounds to me as if anything with the DV files in order. Can you possibly one of the DV files for downloading?

To test, I just filmed out my monitors, the other files would upload to 16GB with too large.
But the format's the same, and this is synonymous with playing with Vegas always hang times.
I hope she's with 75MB is not too large.
Here's the download link:

I'm not sure but I think it is s.Audiostream. Would normally produce in Vegas DV-AVI no audio stream and proxy within the program audio as "Uncompressed" show, not like here as "DV - Audio".
Is this a Type 1 AVI? Vegas AVI Type 2 expected, since the audio is different nested.
You could try the files with a Type 1 - to convert> Type 2 converter. Sources for such tools can be found here:
