Frage von Promaetheus:premiere pro 1.5 and I have been working for some time and so much more. Now I used to have old material, which was saved as mpg or divx trying to edit. this should not be a problem, according synonymous adobe, because I have purchased the software with the proviso that they can edit the price seems appropriate, synonymous divx what has assured me of adobe synonymous.
Now here the problem:
I import my mpg and divx video and the monitor window that is displayed as normal and play with audio. And then if I do video editing in the timeline to insert as the clay away and in the right sequence, although the video is cut correctly, lack of tone, however.
Here is where the errors are of adobe, or I was wrongly advised?
would be great if someone would help me / could.
Antwort von Stefan:
DivX is actually only responsible for video compression. The audio compression makes a different codec.
The freeware tool GSpot you can find out how to use audio codec in which settings to your videos.
Then you still should the audio sampling rate in the videos, compared with the project settings and convince you that you have a possible need for rate conversion have not turned off and the audio tracks are selected in the Timeline (yes I know, but safe is safe).
Then we schaun next

hi stefan!
Thank you for your response erstmal. So gspot says:
Audio format:
Code: 0x0055
Name: WAVE_FORMAT_MPEGLAYER3 (MP3)
Vendor: ISO / MPEG
The following codecs all claim to be capable of processing this format:
-> (Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (advanced))
-> (LAME MP3 Codec v0.9.0 - 3.92 (stable))
-> (MPEG Layer-3 Decoder)
Nero Digital Audio Decoder ()
To get more information by having GSpot instruct the O / S to "play" the file and then examine the results, press the button labeled "Render". in premiere pro stands inside 44,1 khz. when I go to pal dvd 33kHz then it works, I've noticed grad?
Antwort von Stefan:
This happens only in clips that you draw from the monitor window into the Timeline?
If yes:
Still time to sign.
If not:
Well then, it hooks the audio codec that is used in the Timeline. Where AP does not go through the DirectX interface like in the Monitor window.
It lets you live or operate causes.
You have three different MP3 codecs for the same task. GSpot should könenn show you what is in the non-DirectX mode probably used. Depending on the knowledge of PC innards can uninstall the trial basis and see if someone else does it better.
Or do you live with it. In order for the sound, you need an AP Neurendern (Preview calculated) force of the tone. That you can do with a conversion rate (as even figured out), or adjust a sound effect (or normalizing levels ...).
Good luck

thanks. I draufgekommen in the meantime. I was a vollidiot I must say. I had simply started too fast with the editing and premiere had the audio files not yet ready aligned, so no ton. * ashamed *
