There is a tool with which you open virtually any file and can watch the content, however, is the Windows Notepad is not really helpful to track prtl proofread texts in files.
These two ideas: You could, for example, every book file open, copy the text to the clipboard and paste into a word processing program. Then you can make a printout or send the file via email.
