ts file is not from the USB stick to copy, but probably of external HD
Frage von Martin D. Bartsch: Juli 2020
SAT Receiver AVANIT SR-1 with USB port. When recording on an external HD, it is no problem, the ts-emerging PC file names to copy, with ProjectX to etc. Do I convert to a Transcend JetFlash V10 USB Stick with 16 GB, it stops at the speed of copying experiment strongly , until eventually an error message comes. Other files (up to 10 GB tested) can be of HD on the stick and back again copy (with the expected read / write rates).
And now I have nothing more and ask for ideas.

A speed problem of the USB stick is excluded?

Possibly a memory fault? Check times with h2testw of the c't.

A 2.5-GB m2v file is with 11-15 MByte / s on the stick written and with 24-30 MByte / s read them. That should be so DVB-S receiver really rich.
Today I tried the s.zwei laptops, since the 4 GByte large ts file easily with 24-30 MByte / s read, only s.dem PC I only with the ts-file 3-5 MByte / s and Abruch. Everything under Total Commander.
When disks (then) I would have thought yes, it depends on where they was described. That was indeed quasi analog devices with track position and something, but here I can not imagine that a file, because it from the receiver gerschrieben was legible to be worse than from a different PC.

recently in a Dreamboxforum, CF card for TimeShift: ... "... use a fast 4 GB CF Card Extreme III 30MB / s of Secure Digital in the CF slot of the DM7025, as I pointed out the path Timeshift placed, is quite acceptable. Slower CF's are bad, because otherwise Ruckler violent ... "
could fit

With 15300 MByte:
Finished, no error occurred. You can test files *. h2w now delete or in any Check again. Write Rate: 14.6 MByte / s Read: 28.1 MByte / s H2testw v1.4
Can not grumble

or that he has on the calculator when it is not Fat32 instead of NTFS on it, there is 4GB at closing the file and if something bigger is the end.

synonymous but could go wrong, in such times IHAD forum thread after which Tickets are running and what not, because it means that the slow run better as fast. Synonymous but depends of the brand, I had the synonymous Extreme III drin.

Then agrees s.dem device probably something with the USB interface. Hardware defect, zerschossener Drivers etc.
Do you have any other USB host such as a PCI card Available? Such cards are available for under 10 euros.

I think the stick is fat32, because the receiver in the recordings 4-GB-pieces (or make more). The HD is NTFS, but Copy the problem is already synonymous with large files 250 MB occurred.

But why do I then 10 GB of other files (the largest single file 2.5 GB) easily from PC to the stick and push back again? If which were not synonymous, then yes I would have immediately the USB interface suspected.

Then the next question would be due: What is the "Protection Program" (Antivirus, protection or weissnichtwas Interchange), which on the PC in Background? And what else else is running in the background? Peter

Nothing special (and nothing that is not on the XP laptop, where it is not synonymous running). Even without a virus scanner and firewall is not.

Update:
not dubbable ts file from the stick to the laptop to copy (up to 30 Mbyte / s), and renamed again back on the stick played. Go synonymous not better s.PC.
I think synonymous, it was with the USB connection, but why is it with other files?
