Frage von Skorp_007:Hi folks,
I am tired of searching the web, so the specific question s.The Experts:
Which TV card WITH hardware encoder can really be recommended??
Performance criteria:
- DVB-S; possible Hyprid + analog
- Alternative dvb-T + analog
- S-Video + Audio IN
- Hardware MPEG 2 encoding for analog TV / video
- Clean picture (HDTV ready?) + Clean sound
- Useful software on board
Mission objectives:
- Digitize old VHS -> DVD
- TV Recording (- commercial breaks?) With PC -> DVD
'm Now even on the Hauppauge HVR-will (and have pushed 1300 bad software artifacts on VHS encoding) or the LifeView FlyDVB-T Hybrid EX (Qauli HW / SW?).
Would I look over your tips very much!

DVB-S gibts my knowledge, not as a hybrid. You'd have to install a completely different tuner card 2, which would be absurd. - Better buy 2 different cards.

For HDTV I stand on the FireDTV (DVB-S) because they nen CI slot and you could have so aunehmen Premiere ...

Ifs original VHS you could have problems with copy protection (Macrovision get), s.besten times with borrowed ner test card ...
For the start of TV rather stay in DVB-S or-T as an analog recording, of course, are much worse. (synonymous with hardware encoder), plus the time of analog TV is expired anyway ... hopefully soon
If you really want but still record analog, I would recommend is not necessarily a hybrid, but a nem with classical analog tuner on it (the big metal boxes to the PCI card) that I think are slightly better than that with the tuner chip .
In general, my Hauppauge cards have always done good service, but we can not stop using the original software ...
Think about what you need again prefer / want to .. In any case, what you are looking for does not exist in the form.

Hello, "Wotan"
Thanks for your quick response!
If the requirements of course I grabbed a little high.
Primarily I am talking about the easy / low cost but high enough digitizing my priv VHS material.
As even specific AV / DV encoder cards are s.aussterben it and if still available (ebay) often do not get along well with WinXP, I got the idea card with the TV.
Is recommended as synonymous repeatedly in this and other forums.
So:
1. VHS / S-VHS material easy / good digitize
2. Save time when needed is a TV via a PC strip to spec. circumventing the annoying advertising units feature.
Under the current TV cards I have encountered so far on the said Hauppauge HVR-1300 and LifeView FlyDVB-T Hybrid EX. To Hauppauge I have both +, read as synonymous - Nutzerkommendare, the - relate vsauf the supplied software. To LiveView, I have found nothing yet.
Since I do not want / have time to get me a card after another, and to test themselves, would be my recommendation of you right.
