DivX in AVI container is not suitable for streaming. Whether in the
DivX container is different, I do not know.

Have you ever thought drüber another solution to use? The
Windows Media Encoder is far from ideal, but free and
a live stream from the operating Calculator is available from
fairly simple.

If it is not. The DivX container is just a slightly expanded and
modified avi container.

You can probably tell. Forced use of a proprietary codec
and a latency not less than one second. Already, therefore, useless for
many purposes.

Do not use this shit. This fills in the long term, only Microsoft's pockets.
So there's the thing synonymous free.

DivX anyway because the other games only a container with MPEG4,
there are an adequate streaming for: ISMA compliant MPEG-4
streaming. However, keep the products, which dominate
would be very limited. Zuförderst would be as QuickTime, RealOne, and
MPEG4IP ones. AAC wants and perhaps do not synonymous.

The aforementioned alternative VLC IMO is therefore to be preferred, since
cross-platform and freely available. Power, however, something that
Although standards is composed, but of anyone
in the form as the default is: MPEG4 Video MPEG1 Layer 2
Audio in MPEG2 transport stream on UDP nackich (including multicast).
But HTTP is synonymous and is probably for someone who is the "Internet"
want to do, unfortunately the only choice.

I would say yes, you should of proprietary garbage fingers leave
But since the SMPTE VC-1, now called ... well, here is the container
still M $ proprietary user lockin technology.

Why do not you install your own server? If you upstream
Speeds up to 512 kbit / s range, you can, for example a DSL connection
with a fixed IP address take. A simple server, there are free
eg here: http://www.realnetworks.com/products/evalservers.html
