Without me, now watch the video in the link or something of you to know about these cameras: Vertical stripes in bright light sources are "vertical smear" and are caused by overloading the sensor surfaces in the image chip.
This overload is passed fully through the vertical sensor lines and caused a domino effect - the surrounding pixel areas are infected, so to speak "" and also outshine.
