The best rm files convert to MPG (it is the RM Converter ...
just Google) and then cut and edit.

TINRA (http://www.geocities.com/tinra04/) can convert RM to AVI.
Is freeware, but not very mature, and longer
not been developed. At that time I have, however, it
successful for small Real Video clips are used.
